Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. As you all know I am a foodie. I like eating all cuisines but Indian food is comfort food for me and especially when it's made at home. Indian food uses many spices. These spices like chilli powder, mustard powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder etc have lots of nutrients which helps body to maintain immunity as well as is good for digestion. Indian food also makes large use of ginger and garlic which too is very essential for good health. Majority of Indian food is vegetarian too. The different vegetables like cabbage, spinach, tomatoes, aubergine, lady fingers etc have lot of nutrients in it. There are pulses like chickpea which provides high amount of protein to the body. As Indian food uses lot of spices, the burst of flavours one gets is amazing. Khichdi is also light and very nutritious meal enjoyed by people of India at different places. Hope you have a good day. Take care!!

Love Indian food. Use many of those spices in my own dishes except curry. Hubs can’t stand the smell.

That looks so good. Indian food is my absolute favourite. My (Indian) grandmother taught my (Irish) mum how to cook and everything she made was delicious.

Food as they say is the identity of one's culture.
