Phew, let's get this day started! Yesterday was awesome. I got all the computer work done which is always a goal and plus for me in the day. Outside of that though, I made strawberry syrup. It turned out really good even though my mother thought she knew better than I did. I followed the recipe, she didn't even read it. I found use for the old baby food that my dad didn't eat. I emptied them out and used the glass jars for the syrup. I'm excited to make more syrups once the fruit starts coming in again. I also found time to color. The picture is a Beauty and the Beast picture and I only got about half done. It's a Thomas Kincaid picture and it's a lot of blots. They couldn't actually, you know, draw flowers and stuff. They just blotted them in. When I needed to rest my back from bending over the picture, I started Holiday in Death by JD Robb. I am so far off track with my re-read of the In Death series it's not even funny but that's okay. When I initiated the challenge last year to re-read the In Death series in a month like they predicted it would take, I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. I don't have the attention span. I need to find the time to clean the filter in the fish tank today and we need to clean it this weekend. The floor needs vacuumed and scrubbed. Dishes need done. Dinner needs made. Then maybe I can get some sleep lol. What else is everyone else up to today/night? *picture from google
