Do you like "Saving Private Ryan"?

Yes I do. It really pulls on your heart strings, and the twist at the end where he chooses to stay after all of that- it is just the greatest. I think that this really captures the true drama of war. I think everyone should see it at least once, war fanatic or not.

I have not seen the movie but I have read the book and I think that is is a very good book. If has alot of meaning!

I love the movie saving private ryan, I think that is really tells the true way things were behind the people that were in war. I think that this movie should be viwed in history classes in school. I know this is a lot more interesting and educational then some of the stuff they show!!

Yes, this movie is historically inaccurate, but anyone using a movie to learn history deserves to be mislead. These are the same people that believe chain letters. Let face it, some people just prefer to be under-informed, or not informed at all, so stop giving bad reviews based on this. The movie is entertaining, moving, and creates a feeling of the hardship of war. THAT is the point of the movie. The story is just one part of the structure of the movie, and it is a good story, whether true or not. The rest of the movie has great acting, disturbing visuals, and great direction. Its not a documentary, folks.
