What’s it like to be older? Depends on the day! Also depends on the body part that doesn’t want to agree with my mind. 
It’s dual countdown time, looking at songs with “old” and songs with “age” in the title. To counterbalance a great R&B song, where do I go? Yep, to NYC.

Gabba gabba hey!
Get exposed to DDT and rock out! Yeah, it might sound funny (and it’s certainly not presented as a “serious” song), but the underlying notion of the lyrics isn’t all that serious. In fact we have “conspiracy theorists” taking this song (“DDT did a job on me, now I am a real sickie”) to the extreme with the “chem trail” baloney.

Wow! I love this song but I did not know the meaning. I know the meaning of various songs by Ramones, but strangely, I had never been interested in this one, but I loved the concept of "Teenage lobotomy" because it reminds me of a song that says "I've lost my patience in the lobotomy" which is counterproductive to the process.

The Ramones passed through my radar in their heyday. Not really familiar with them; and I definitely don't remember this song.
