Day 250 Promise 718 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teaches you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. We are taught many things from birth. Education unlocks doors to a secure future. John told the people they no longer needed a teacher because they had a teacher living in them. The anointing they received was from the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (KJV) As Christians, you know the Holy Spirit lives in you and has lived in you since you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. When you spend time in God’s Word, the Holy Spirit teaches you and causes you to remember what you read so that when Satan comes against you, you have ammunition to use against him. Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (KJV) The Holy Spirit will teach you everything you need to know. You only need to open God’s Word and allow Him to fill You with God’s truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Have you opened God’s Word and allowed the Holy Spirit to teach you? Let’s pray: Father, let Your Holy Spirit teach me and bring to remembrance Your Word so that I can fight Satan when he comes against me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
