Looks like we are on a journey through an unforgiving desert looking for an oasis but it is more of mirages. We thought we were approaching a safe shore but are in deeper waters with the surging pandemic crippling us.
Then the never ending, creative, controversy theories about the virus, vaccination, with some experts asserting the pandemic was planned and with purpose. I feel like a passenger being led on a journey increasingly getting murkier; also, the hurried vaccination response that could make the whole outcome worse.
Yes, we are lost in an unforgiving desert with our caravan of life drifting with leaders disagreeing on the direction we should take. We are in uncharted territory.
We have left the earlier oasis behind us and are desperate to reach another for some peace of mind and safety. I feel we are adrift in stormy waters; it is the first time in my life I feel a sense of helplessness. The whole world is on the same boat – no safe havens.
And to think none saw this coming!
How are you placed now wherever you are?

Thanks, Ocean Tiara, I see some experts spewing outlandish theories and do not know what to believe and what is indeed the reality.
What is the real reason for this pandemic? We have a right to know to get a better handle on the situation.
It looks like it is not easy to get back to life as we knew any time soon, if at all.

@Shiva49 We have to figure it out for ourselves, and I think most of the sensible of us know the truth deep inside of us, we can feel it.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, the issue is some experts are openly expressing a view the approach, especially in hurrying through with half-cooked vaccines, could prove counter-productive, to say the least. Then again, we have few choices anyway.

Also I think the human race is somehow beginning to pay the price of environmental destruction and tinkering with nature.
Plus one still cannot fully rule out foul play in some sort of a Biological warfare.

Yes the way it has spread in second wave and across Mumbai, Pune and now Delhi makes one suspicious.
Or our big cities so crowded and dirty that it makes for a big breeding ground for virus mutations?

Yet once things are even a bit normal, people get back to the old cunning ways.
And then nature starts suffering again.
Perhaps this is one more chance offered to us by the nature and God.

I also have similar feelings.
One more personal thing. We got our AC serviced yesterday. Post servicing, there were some cooling issues. The serviceman fixed the issue.
Yet, today the cooling stopped again!
And in such Covid times, I have to call him again!
Apart from expenses and the headache, it is thr safety that is something that is the biggest worry.

Still hiding will still give a better chance rather than going for a cavalry charge and exposing oneself to dangers.
