Do you like the band Depeche Mode? What is your favorite song by them?

My preferite song is "Personal Jesus", but "martyr" is a fantastic song too

I love Depeche Mode! I saw them in concert during their Exciter tour - AND I HAD FRONT ROW SEATS!! I can't tell how what a great time I had!:D As for a favourite song, try as I might, I couldn't pick just one.:( There are too many I enjoy. I love hearing that song. :) As for Depeche Mode's most recent album, "Playing the Angel," I do like it. Just like their past several releases, it took a little while to grow on me, but there were a few songs that I loved right off the bat, like "Suffer Well" and "Precious" (both of which were released as singles). And did you know DM got a Grammy nomination for "Suffer Well" in the "Best Dance Recording" category? Great news! Thanks for starting a Depeche Mode thread! I was very young when they were in their prime. Probably 10 or so. We didn't have music like that in my native country (Pretty much only our own music) until the early 90s as we were communist until 1989.

Yes I like them very much, unfortunately I haven't seen them in concert. I like their song 'Strange Love' and 'Enjoy the Silence'. Their new album is fine but not as good as the old ones. I was 17 when I listened 1st to them and I was fascinated.

My favourite song of them is "Shake the disease".I saw them in concert in Warsaw,Poland 2001 and in Birmingham,United Kingdom 2006.I like their newest album but this is not my favourite one.When they were in their prime I was 10.

I love Depeche Mode. *looks over at her DM poster* Unfortunately, I don't have their newest album yet.:( I'm poor and nobody will buy it for me! As for favorite song... Oh, that's a tough one, but I think I'm going to have to go with Somebody. It's definitely up there at the very top.

depeche mode ... my fave new wave band .. my favorite song by depeche mode is " only when i loose myself " this song is very sexy to me .. i dont have to watch depeche mode concert.. maybe someday if the band come to my country :D

I love Depeche Mode. Definitely in my top 3 favorite bands. I saw them last year and they were absolutely amazing. Even if I was faaaaarrr away. I was born in 1982 so I was pretty young when they were in their prime. But, my brothers listened to them. So, I was exposed to them early. My favorite song *right now* is "Tora Tora Tora". I've been listening to Speak and Spell all day!

I was born 1979 so I was quite young when they were famous. In any case a classic band which survived all the years. Love their songs such as Somebody and People are people. Influenced by my old sistr I used to listen to their songs all day. The weirdest fashion in any era..the eighties! Nu Wavers right?! But the songs are definitely addicting!

Depeche Mode is one of my top favorites. So hard to pick just one song. Maybe Just Can't Get Enough.
