...I called my brother to let him know about the place I had an appointment to see an apartment. It's in the town where he lives, and he knows the area. He started saying that he wasn't comfortable with my living there with the kind of people who hang around there, and why did it cost so much when it was in such a "seedy" part of town... He also said, though my doctor said that I probably did not need it (for reasons my brain's too tired to explain), that he wanted 1) for me to try to get on disability, and 2) he wanted me to make an appointment with my doctor so that he could talk to her to (as she's been talking with me about disability and such). My doctor actually mentioned wanting to talk with him, too--so hopefully this will work out. I am thankful that my brother is looking out for me, anyway.
