We had this earlier but did it not survive. I collected a plant from my ancestral home where I had visited about a month ago. I bought a new tub and placed this plant in water in the tub. It is just a month and I saw a flower this morning After planint it had produced 4 fresh leaves too.

Ooh, that's lovely! I buy dried water hyacinth balls for our bunny (they're her absolute favorite) but I don't think I've ever seen one growing before.
I had a mama owl turn her back on me today when I went to take pictures of her and her owlets. That was really neat, because if I was bothering her at all she would have been very intently focused on me instead of basically going back to sleep.
