See I can hear the original. This is how most like their music these days. Called mainstream for a reason. Where Offspring lost me they started listening to the mainstream and sure can say bands like Rancid and Greenday which is true and NOFX did the same, except with the exception of Greenday, Rancid and NOFX barely made the radio. I do not think Rancid ever tried to make the radio again after the 90's/. Knew it was a lost cause and just going to do their own thing now, but the damage they did still leaves them relevant. Offspring never would make the radio again on later music, because people got tired of their music deteriorating for them to literally try to make the radio. You know why this song is amazing, sure she has a great voice and slows it down to where you can understand the lyrics. Makes them pretty so to speak. The neatness of the song is the lyrics. It was unheard of to say such things at the time even though the 90's were coming and they were going to hit the world something fierce. I am to this day still pissed offspring chose money over those lyrics. Them choosing money made sure we will never be left alone again. to do our own thing. Disappointing to say the least/. Money wins every time is our policy. Learn it and better learn to love it or you in for a rough life. Some of us just like a rough life though and would rather fight that bs than live miserable in living in a way we do not believe in. Apparently a money life is a good life though ask The Offspring or you can go Rancids route where they probably made less money but living comfortably and stayed true to who they are. I do wonder how Offspring views their old songs compared to their we got rich and made it songs. I think I would be disappointed. in myself. I know Tim and Rancid and Fat Mike NOFX and even Green day probably not disappointed in their songs at all . I have always found this type of stuff interesting. Maybe Offspring became bored. Any thoughts why they would write such neat lyrics that actually did change some of society just to turn around and do what corporate America wants. Anyway I look at the band they are disappointing to me, sorry, how I feel.
