The Hubby Discovered a Bird's Nest

Yesterday my husband did a little work in the yard and told me last night he had discovered a bird nest inside a piece of white PVC pipe that he had laying over his boat. This piece of pipe is only 3-4" in diameter so I had to go take a look at this bird nest. I went outside and took my cell phone with me to see if I could get a good shot of the nest. The photo you see above is what I discovered. It's neat and out of harm's way. With the storm we had last night this nest would have been totally destroyed. I have not seen any bird in the nest so it is a mystery as to what kind of bird built a nest inside. I do know that it is a tiny bird!! Photo Credit: © 2021 Karen Gros, All rights reserved

@DocAndersen Nope but he was ready to get everything checked out and ready to go soon. Oh well! He will have to just fist from the canoe or kayak for now.

They’re busy building this time of year, and you never know where they’ll build. That is cool, and I hope the birds are successful in raising their family.

What a cool find. It is that time of the year. Maybe a house wren.

It would need to be a tiny bird. Nice picture of the nest.
