Day 257 Promise 725 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (KJV) Do you feel greater than the problems you face? For many people, their problems cause untold amounts of stress and anxiety. Health problems and suicide occur because problems seem insurmountable. John told the believers they were greater than their problems because the Holy Spirit lived in them. As Christians, you don’t need to let your problems sink your faith. Only one person, Satan, is responsible for your problems and you are greater than him. John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. When you look at what you have with Jesus, you have no reason to fear what Satan can and will do to you if you let him. Jesus went to the cross to defeat Satan and his lies. He not only overcame death, but he also destroyed Satan’s works in your lives when He rose from the dead. You have a force in you that cannot be denied when Satan comes against you. Use it. Send Satan packing. He has no power over you. Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. God told Adam and Eve what He would do one day through the Savior, He would send. Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (KJV) From the beginning, God promised that Satan would not have control over your lives because Jesus would defeat him on the cross. Don’t let fear and anxiety rob you of the joy Jesus gives you through His death and resurrection. He is greater than anything Satan can do to you. Send him packing. Let’s pray: Father, let Your joy live in me because You are greater in me than Satan who is in the world. Help me send him packing whenever he tries to come against me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
