Relax your body and mind

We all worry and get upset from time to time. This is the part of life. We became anxious, angry and things become worse than before. What you guys do in such situations?? These are some steps we can follow to relax our body and mind. 1. Breathing is the number one and most effective technique for reducing anger and anxiety quickly. Take one deep breath in and then exhale fully while paying attention to your body. This is my favorite. 2. Mindful Meditation. Do some Yoga. 3. Listening to music can have a very calming effect on your body and mind. 4. write out your thoughts in a journal without worrying about complete sentences or punctuation. Writing helps you get negative thoughts out of your head. 5. Soaking in a warm bath can also help. Hope this post will help someone who is in need.

These are wonderful tips, but the problem is that in such situations we forget and do not think about how to help ourselves.

Yes. I agree. But deep breathing is somewhat you can do with some practice. I always do that and it works to some extent.

Can't avoid reacting to the situation. Getting angry is one of them although being aware that the reaction would develop anxiety which is not good for the body. No exercise or yoga can avoid that but anxiety can be reduced by deep breathing exercise.

Listening to music sure does help..but i havent done any meditation i just keeps dreaming and try to let something else occupies my mind

Mediation is also great for stress management. Sometimes I sit in a quiet place, close my eyes to Declutter my mind.
