Trying out essential oils this spring

For the longest time, I've always wanted to try essential oils of any kind. And last week, I've did some online research on the best and affordable brands and purchased the essentials kit plus one blend. And it cost me around $40 + free shipping and 73 loyalty points to the Rocky Mountain Oils based in Utah. I wanted to try it out for stress relief and perhaps later for cleaning. Due to a processing hiccup on my order being "processed" for almost a week, I've contacted them and found out that there was an issue that's now been resolved. So I should get my order by this weekend. I also got $5 store credit for this mistake to use for a future order somewhere down the road. Have you used essential oils before? And if you do, what scents do you use and what for?

I have never tried them I hope you find someone that has and can give you some pointers. Maybe even go on YouTube and see what you can find out

@Tina30219 Thanks. Just the top essential oils (some I'm getting, some in the future) and what to use them for. Trial by error, right?

There are different types of essential oils. I use 1 to add to a pitcher of water, just to make it a little more refreshing then plain old water is. It is grapefruit oil. I have another that I will use to rub into my temple if I feel a terrible headache coming on from stress-it is lavender. I have several others that are lower grade and I sue them to add a nice scent to the wood dryer balls that I use. My hubs prefers the eucalyptus for his work clothes, I like the peppermint for sheets and towels and the citrus (lemon and orange) for my clothing. There are so many uses for them, enjoy.

That's true. Best to keep them from a safe distance.

I do not use oils, I prefer to use incense at home because they avoid bad energy, especially sandalwood.
