"CREDIT" A WONDERFUL WORD. DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO LOSE IT

I'm sure what I'm about to tell you will seem strange to you, it seems inconceivable. My youngest daughter, Ebony, asked me yesterday a question that impressed me in that it is supposed that because of her age and studies, she should know the meaning, then I thought, how can she know about "credit" in a country where that is practically not exists. The fact is that some friends who used to be my merchandise suppliers (I had a bakery supplies business), now sell her the raw material for her business (gum paste in sugar jobs). These friends called her and offered to sell her merchandise on "credit" for 7 days and she didn't understand what it meant. LOL. So I had to explain to her very clearly the meaning of the word and how wonderful the offer had been made. I explained to her that for me, credit is synonymous with trust, it means that people trust you and give you the opportunity to get something now and pay it later or in parts. I told her that when I was young and married her mother, I obtained many of the things necessary to establish a home thanks to the credit offered by the commercial houses, which competed by giving you better benefits, whether in prices, quality of products or conditions. payment, so you had many options to decide. I got my furniture, I got my car and so on until I got bank loans for different purposes. I told her that many people were against credits and said that it was a way to steal from you, because you had to pay more expensively for the products you bought, I understood that this is not true and I never had problems, take full advantage of the credit while I could. Now in my country where credit literally no longer exists, I value more what it means to obtain it and I told my daughter, you are privileged to be given this opportunity, because it is very rare that any company offers later payments, because it can mean losses for them in an economy as bizarre as ours. I insisted, please take care of it and honor your payments on time, that will help you grow. How are you doing with the credits?

I can't complain. I'm in debt, as many americans are. But, I'm doing good. Got one card paid off which is always a good thing. Credit score is low, but out of the red, which is good.

Friend, so it should be. You have to assess the credit and request it conscientiously, knowing that we have the ability to pay. Always comply and thus the numbers will never be in the red and we will grow in creditworthiness.

My late husband made use of credit when he needed it for his business. I donĀ“t use it now.

I think it is always necessary to have it. If used wisely, it can even allow you to "invest", that is, use the borrowed money, to increase your capital. It's not a bad idea. You just have to be very careful.

I have poor credit because I don't have a credit card. Yet, I am debt-free. I don't owe anybody anything and all my bills are paid on time.

Cool. That's as good as having a good credit history and being a good payer.

Credit has helped be tremendously, but it has also been very difficult to get out of debt. Your advise is good. Be careful and keep good credit by paying back.

This is how it is a friend, very useful, but if it is not cared for or used properly, it becomes a double-edged sword.

When I first saw your title, I thought you were referring to honour. Like when someone gives you credit for work well done. Anyway, I also get credit from local bank where you can get money on credit
