Dallas Got Lucky Last Night

A major storm system passed through North Texas last night. It had two separate storm cells that were forming due west and south-west of the Dallas-Ft.Worth area and as a result of the tornado and hail threat, almost all of the live broadcasting of President Joe Biden was pre-empted by the local weather men, on ABC and CBS. However, I managed to find KERA 13.1 digital TV, broadcasting it live without interruption. KERA is a PBS channel. After President Joe Biden did his address to the nation, a day before his 100th day in office, A Senator gave a basic rebuttal to Biden's speech and tried to negate everything he said by proposing a counter measure that the GOP supports Although there is extreme division in the nation's Capitol, Joe's speech was both positive and compassionate. And Dallas got lucky. The storms passed over us and did not do great damage in our area and I slept better last night than I have in many months since the January 6 Capitol invasion and hopefully we all can sleep better at nights, knowing that the race to vaccinate is pushing forward, for those who do their patriotic duty to not hesitate, but vaccinate.

Not hesitate, but vaccinate. Patriotic duty. Sounds really positive. Changed days from Trump's Presidency when the whole world was laughing at America.

Glad to see they passed by. I think we are mostly out of storms over here, fingers crossed! Still, then sneak up on us occasionally. Politics seems to very bi-polar in the US and UK, so they work against the good of the nation I feel.

I'm glad you are safe and sound after last night's weather. We both have had 2 COVID-19 shots now. Have a great day. P. S. I agree with Mr. Interaction. Other countries are no longer laughing at the U.S.
