Smoking or Non-smoking?

I hate smoking!
It's a personal vexation.
I cannot tolerate smoke. It's like air is being sucked out of me.
And that's reason I find the question 'Smoking or Non-smoking?' appropriate. There must be designated areas for snout-puffing creatures, a box for them to inhale all the smoke they puff out. And I care not if they suffocate in it. It's their choice.
Never did I imagine though that this pet peeve is in concordance with the Gospel.
In today's liturgy, we hear our Lord Jesus saying "In my Father's house there are many dwelling places." That means our God has been preparing mansions for each and everyone of us.
Some of us get there early, like children dying before they live a full life on earth.
Some are given extended length of years because their mansions take time to get built.
Someone queried, 'What if there is no mansion for me?'
Someone answered, 'You've been asked early on - smoking or non-smoking?'
What the hell!

You are allergic to smoke.
I cough, too. Intentionally.

@YrNemo I got real loud vocal cords. That means my lungs are very strong, I think.

Takes a lot of mental resolve to quit smoking but physically and spiritually, you gotta get over the sticks.

Yes, you are correct, smoking is anybody's prerogative but these smokers need to respect other people's air space.

That is good. Smoking is really detrimental to the health. Kudos to your family.
