I had the draft on before it even began last night. The whole red carpet thing that they do, ya know.
Breaking news during all of this was Aaron Rodgers is upset with the Green Bay Packers organization and will not play for them again.
It was the biggest news even after the draft started.
Now everyone is asking if he really is done with the Packers this time.
No one knows for sure what exactly happened but it seems to be rumored that the Packers wanted to give Rodgers a short term deal to give them more salary cap and Rodgers didn't want to.
Apparently Rodgers wants a long term deal that would show him that the Packers have a long term interest in keeping him as a their quarterback.
The Packers organization stands by their statement saying that Rodgers is NOT going to be traded and they will work things out. They want to continue their success and Rodgers was a big part of that.
At the same time though, Rodgers has already come out and said that no matter what is on the table he will not be coming back to play for this club.
Which ego is going to win?
The Packers or Rodgers himself?
Maybe he'll go to Jeopardy permanently lol.
What do you think out there?

That is a hard question and I do not know the answer. It's best he stays where he's comfortable, don't you think?

Football is a bit more complicated sadly. Some follow the money while some stay loyal. I think that Rodgers is feeling disrespected by the Management of the Packers and it played into him not wanting to play for them anymore.
With both sides stubborn and hard headed, it's a mystery as to who will win out.

@JordanLader Oh, I see. Well, if he was feeling disrespected, maybe it was best he left?

@sharonelton If he leaves, he'll be retiring. The question is a complicated one because the options are limited and I don't think anyone will be happy in the end.
