Marian Hakanson who recently turned 100 years of age is grateful that the staff at the Northridge Hospital in California where she has been a volunteer for the last 25 years received her dream of riding in a hot air balloon ride as her reward for cheering up the children in the hospital.
Marian is one female who believes in the saying "Age is just a number" since for the last 50 years she has dedicated her work of working with children at hospitals in her long life since she loves her work which keeps her busy and happy.
Marian has a secret for living as long as she has lived since she believes in being happy and being a servant to others in her lifetime.
That sounds like good sound advice for us to live by.
