Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. There has been so many weddings which took place in India during these times of Pandemic. People were allowed to invite 50 people for the same. I think they had invited more. I personally feel this isn't the time for carrying out any social function wherein you know the virus spreads fast if there are more people. Lot of Tv celebrities in India too got married during these times. I find it wierd to an extent. Even after you take all precautions, if someone gets infected then what!! Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care!!

Weddings have been super spreader events in many cases. We had a wedding in family on 23 April and I had booked my tickets for attending it. But then seeing the scenario I cancelled it in end of March. Finally wedding took place with 20 close family members only on the terrace. My uncle requested all invited guests to cancel the plan.

Sad to know. . Good that you didn't go. There is no point if your near dear ones can't attend it. However, it's matter of choice I guess

@Rashnag Yes. And people can't keep delaying everything. My uncle had cancelled the plan twice last year too. But then seeing the conditions improving, he chose the date. Now the second wave came. Anyway it was wise that he requested guests to cancel the visit for their safety. They had a simple wedding in house. They cancelled all bookings. He plans to throw a party later when situation allows. Not sure when it will

They are not at all bothered about what is happening and what situation we are in. Even after govt officials putting lot of restrictions and all they are not willing to consider it

You are right this is not the time for functions like wedding. However you try to control you can not trim the guest list to below 50 and 50 also is a big crowd.

Pandemic cannot hinder people who love each other and want to get married. I was invited once but I was afraid to attend though.

If it were me, I'd delay my wedding. It's not good to have a marriage in such circumstances. It's a huge risk we're willing to take.
