I've had good friends who have been friends with me since we were in middle school. For your information, my best friend here is a man. Then, he told me he was going to study abroad. And of course we're going to part. It makes me sad but of course I can't forbid it. We have each other's plans for our future. He's leaving on the 17th of this month. So we decided we'd meet on Sunday to spend the rest of our time. I wish him all the best

I had a male best friend also. He came to my house over a decade ago to bid me good-bye. He migrated his family to New Zealand. Never got to see him again but we keep in touch through facebook. That's all right. Your friend wants to find his corner of the sky. Wish him well. If life brings you back together again, it would be wonderful.
