How do you feel about organ donation? Are you a registered donor?

I believe you can also be considered as a donor for liver, heart, pancreas, lungs, skin grafting, etc.

If you are interested, you need to go to the Secretary of State's office in your city (at least in the USA). They have the papers to fill out and will put a sticker on your drivers license to indicate that you want to be a donor. You can select which organs you are interested in donating and also can indicate anything you do not want to donate. Of course, whether or not you will be a candidate for organ donation will rely on your health status at the time of harvesting.

Thank you for your reply. If you aren't registered, how will anyone know you wish to donate? Have you talked about this with your loved ones?

i'm not an organ donor and right now i'm not sure if I want to be one. I don't like the idea that when I die, I'll be missing a part of my body or organ before they bury me. But it's also nice to think that I was able to help and save another person's life just because of my organ. So right now, I would still have to think if this would be a possibility for me.

I understand your concerns. I worry about how my children would be affected if Mom didn't have a whole body at the services. Maybe I'm just reflecting too much of my own concerns onto them? Gosh, it's a tough one for me.
