Andre Rieu on my telly box.

So, last night Andre Rieu was on the telly again, not once but TWICE! The first one started at 8:30pm, and was one of the documentaries and was called Vienna Memories. It was all about the different concerts he's done in Vienna. There were several outdoor ones and an indoor one where he first played the waltz that was written by Sir Anthony Hopkins. There were carriages and dancing horses in front of a palace. It was all very lovely. The second one started at 9:30pm. It was called Andre Rieu: 70 Years Young and it was a celebration of Andre's 70th birthday. He had a special party for the members of his orchestra. There was a lady interviewing Andre about his life and career, right from when he was born, til the present day. She also talked to Pierre, Andre's son. They showed clips of many of Andre's concerts all over the world, handpicked by Andre, including Marusia being Mary Poppins and a very emotional performance by Jermaine Jackson, singing Smile by Charlie Chaplin. It was very very good. It went on from 9:30pm until 12:15am! I didn't actually get to bed til half past. What did you get up to yesterday? Have a great day.
