Do you think Cerebral Palsy is contagous?

I think they do at least some does. Was wondering what all of yall thought?

nope cerebral palsy is not at all contagous. it is somewhat genetic but definetly doesnot spread like this.

That's ridiculous. But I think ignorance is contagious. My son has Cp and I am perfectly fine!

The reason i asked is cause i have Cerebral Palsy and been trying to get a date and they seem like im contagious they take one look and say no i wont go with you.

No CP is not contagious. It is a brain defect, usually from being deprived of oxygen at birth. There are other causes also. For my son it was a chemical I was around when his brain developed. CP does not affect everyone the same, it affects different parts of the brain, it affects muscles. My son has too much muscle tone. If there is anything else I can explain to you, please ask. It is not contagious and those people could sure use your help.

No - cerebral palsy is not contagious and will not spread from one person to another. However some causes of CP tend to be genetically determined and so there is a chance that another kid in the same palsy can have it. But this is genetically determined and not contagious.

Of course it isnt I have CP I should know. How do you think you would catch it?
