N440K'- A new variant of SARS-CoV-2

May 7, 2021 7:01am CST
Do you guys heard about this : it was first discovered in Kurnool district in Andhra pradesh, is at least 15 times more infectious than the earlier virus. Besides, it may be even stronger than the other variants new variation is not sparing any age group. All the people are equally prone and at the risk of developing a serious infection. Even fitness freaks and those with strong immunity should be careful of the new variant of the virus . I don't know when this thing is going to stop

So is this called the third variant or this makes the 4th variant in India? I don't understand how the virus came to India and thought let's evolve. I am done being a 1st standard student, I will graduate from India itself. I agree all the people now are prone to these variants. Plus are doctors are not able to determine if the vaccines will be able to fight against them or not.

Can't agree more In March we also reacted like everything is okay nothing to fear off , this virus thing is gone now we can play holi attend kumbh and will pe participating in rallies & then ended up being caged to this thing

@Oeshiii Well even though we were caged and everything, still, Holi was celebrated by everyone, Kumbh was attended by everyone, and rallies were conducted. Nothing stopped these three things whatsoever. Neither did our govt nor the covid.

I hope most people get vaccinated as fast as possible, even though its not a cure but its helps to minimize the damage to body and gives us a fighting chance
