This is one of our local figs here in the Philippines. The young leaves can be cooked as veggies and the ripe brown fruits are so sweet. Anyone tried this already? I am growing this as part of my Food Forest.

Am not privy to niyog-niyugan and thus have not tried the veggie viand and fruits. I wonder if I could find some in our nurseries here in Metro Manila.

Try to ask in QC nursery display lots of native trees and other ornamentals if they have this Ficus pseudopalma.

@kaguvkov A little far from my area. But I just might have a friend who is into the ficus thing also. I might ask him. Thank you for the suggestion. Will keep that in mind.

There are so many ficus species in its genus. This species is one of the native here.
