A good person who cares for the welfare of a nine month old German Shepherd named Cora is being praised for doing what was in the best interest of the puppy that was found in a tied up trash bag in Tampa Florida.
The good person who was not identified took Cora to the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) to see if the veterinarians would be able to save the dog from death since she was literally at death's door.
Thanks to the efforts of VEG veterinarian Doctor Lisa Soyka and her team of doctors were able to assist Cora stay alive and be on the road to a complete recovery thanks to the power of social media and donations from animal lovers to pay for the medical expenses of operating the dog who will be placed on adoption within this month.
I feel sorry for the person who did not have the courage of their convictions to take Cora to an animal adoption center instead of tying up the poor puppy and leaving her to die on the street.

Why do people have animals if they are going to do horrible things to them? It makes me sad how cruel people are. What a good person for wanting to save Cora. Thank you for saving Cora. I am so glad Cora will be ok. People do cruel things. My cat was left to die at 2 days old and this family found her and had the vet nurse her back to health.

What makes me very sad is seeing it with my own eyes and say something to get them to not do anything or stop it before it happens. It takes all kinds to make up this world and there are some very very nasty people out there and some very nice ones as well.

While it's cruel, people are afraid to just dump their animals at rescues or shelters. They fear procutuion and it's easier to run away if they take matters in their own hands. I agree, some people.

Thanks for your input about why some persons dump dogs to die on the streets.

Oh! This is horrible. That person should be tied up in a trash bag too! I hope that Cora finds a loving home.

I hope so as well since animals should not be treated that way.
