Julius Campbell who is 96 years of age has a secret of why despite his age where many of his fellow senior citizens have either retired from the work force or have passed away continues to work as a crossing guard at Sherman Park neighborhood in Milwaukee. Julius who served in World War II as a member of the U S Navy as well as a retired school teacher who is a crossing guard at Yeshiva Elementary School for the past 24 years. Julius admits that he loves his work as a crossing guard since he enjoys seeing children go to school, get an education and grow up to be productive persons as adults. One good reason that Julius is still in wonderful condition to work as a crossing guard is that he takes good care of himself. He has a goal to work as a crossing guard until he reaches 100 years of age, Doing something that we all love is one secret to feeling young at heart.
