Welcome to another rescue story from the brave men and women who serve in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) who answered an emergency call around 11 pm on Thursday evening near Black Bay in Plaquemines Parish.
Three persons were on board a fishing boat that was sinking due to a hole aboard the boat that was on the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet.
The three persons on board the fishing boat had access to a VHF radio which assisted them to contact the USCG to send a helicopter and a rescue boat to take them to safety.
Thank goodness none of the three fishermen were hurt during the adventure in the river on Thursday night.
The members of the USCG are real heroes who were just doing their job to save lives around the clock.

Thank goodness for the USCG. They rescue many people in distress on the water.

You are right since they have a show on the Weather Channel.

I agree with you on this matter since the coast guard is on the clock all of the time.
