Fire doused

Today at 2:58 AM Pacific Standard Time, firefighters arrived at my home apt. to stop a fire inside the trash bin in front of my home. As far as I know no one hurt or injured.
I smelled something burning. Went to investigate. Just as I peered out my front windows, seeing neighbors standing peering towards the trash bin as silently a firetruck pulled up. Quickly, fire equipment was out to douse the fire. I stood looking toward the situation, not daring to venture outside. As soon as I knew everything was safe, I went back to sleep. Very early & rude awakening!

Indeed! Someone way before I was concious to our world, called the fire dept. or 911 and reported the fire.

Very. You know what, in yesterday's news, 3 State buildings were also set in fire by arson! Small spacey like doors and like our trash bin small places set ablaze!

Thanks. It's an odd, shuddering feeling, a person would do that.

Thanks, me tooooo.
The handyman came by today. Looks like this coming week, he'll be working to repair the area. We still got the same bin with no lids

@oahuwriter Yes, that is close. I'm glad someone called before it got out of hand.

Me too! By the time I was contious, someone already called fire department or 911. My door is in the picture... that's how close I was to fire. Thank God for good neighbors! Amen.

At least it was a trash bin and not someone's unit.
