Do you know Halo-halo?

Angeles City, Philippines

Here in the Philippines we have the wet and dry season. So everytime summer comes, aside from going to the beach we have this Halo-halo. A Filipino term. for Mixing/Mix. It is made from mixed sweetened ingredients like beans, nata de coco, banana, jackfruit, sweet corn, water yam/winged yam, pearl, sugar, evaporated milk, with leche plan and ice cream and of course the main ingredients crushed ice. It's reall been a tradition that Summertime is Halo-halo time. In every where you go here, there will always be folks selling halo-halo. It's really helps beat the summer heat. It's easy to prepare and it's very cheap compared to milk teas smoothies.
