Hello friends I just finished my lunch and mylotting. The picture is about lemon grass in my terrace garden. Lemon grass is used as flavouring agent . I use it to prepare lemon tea. Do you like lemon tea? Do you like lemon grass? How do you use it?

I have it too but they are drying out. I use it to flavour my rice too other than using it for lemon tea. I guess I will have to regrow it once I get back to gardening in July

@prashu228 It gives a nice flavor. Just add a little to boiling rice and later remove it before the whole dries. But use little and remove it so that rice does not get a bitter taste.

We use it for dishes such as plain vegetable soup and roasted whole body of meat.

@prashu228 We use it to spice some dishes because it has a pleasant aroma once it's combined to the food.

We have plenty of lemon grass here in our place. We could ask for it in our neighbor anytime of the day. We use it to add aroma in foods. Sometime in rice to add aroma. Or in roasted chicken or anything roasted. We use it also to add aroma in steamed chicken recipe, roasted pigs, chicken tinola(chicken recipe with soup and papaya).
