Life inside of a tattoo shop

United States

My husband is an artist and I get to be in the shop everyday with him and his coworkers. Days can run anywhere from dull to very exciting and funny. If you are a people watcher, it is definitely the place to be. Some days, however, it can push you to your limits as anyone working with the public would already know. People are definitely interesting creatures. I am not an artist, however, I have definitely become a part of the shop and deal with the phones and customers. This is my life, at the moment. Ask me any questions....I am sure I have some interesting stories to tell.

Nice. okay here's a question? Does it actually happen that people drunk come in and get a tattoo? which they might regret the next day?

Absolutely! However I will say that at our shop, we always try our best to sway any regrettable work. Usually people are easily swayed and change their minds.
