When Customers Order The Wrong Item

Philippines
May 15, 2021 1:30am CST
I was at KFC and ordered their strawberry panna cotta with my chicken and rice meal. As I carried my tray away, I heard the male customer at the next counter ordering a strawberry banana, but the crew said they don't have that item. I have a feeling the customer was referring to McDonald's strawberry banana sundae, which another mylotter, Allen, posted about. Have you ever ordered the wrong item at the wrong store then realized your mistake? Or have you been the staff or crew dealing with customers insisting on having the wrong item?

Yes I have experienced that and I returned the order after realizing I ordered the wrong item. Have a nice weekend.

How soon are you allowed to return an item so you can have your money back?

@yoalldudes True. Same with staff at groceries, payment centers, banks, and pharmacies.

On occasion, I've ordered the Champ of Jollibee in McDonald's. Not a proud moment.

@merrybelle2021 I guess they are. The Big Mac's today are as good as previous years. The double cheeseburger is good but I wish what they'll have is the double cheeseburger deluxe.

Oops! But they're probably used to it. Forgot to tell you, I also prefer McDo's double cheeseburger over the BigMac.

Haven't experienced that lol. But most often I order Coke at establishments which are exclusively selling competitor's products, lol.

Normally we order after refering either the display board or with the help of menu card so there are less chances of doing any mistakes while placing any order in any restaurant!

I do the same even if I ate there previously to check if there are new items I might be interested in.

@merrybelle2021 , Yes, food chains always keep on adding new dishes as per the taste of the local diners! This is mre with Mc Donald and also with KFC! So this style suits me!

I did that often until the staff told me gently that their store didn't serve that (and my daughter pulled my sleeve, whispered, 'mom, McDonalds don't server that, only Hungry Jacks!'
