Do you have a funnel? It may be called something else in other countries. I bought two very inexpensive white plastic funnels at the Dollar Tree recently. I don't even remember now why I needed one. But I tell you what, those little buggers have come in so handy! I think guys use funnels for something to do with autos? Today I used one after making sweet tea for tomorrow's small birthday party for my husband. I used a funnel to pour the tea from a large pitcher into a gallon water jug. For the party I baked two pumpkin pies, snowball cookies, banana cookies, sausage balls, and fried pecans. Our son and grandson Nathan are coming over and we'll open gifts. Nathan's meeting us for church and Robert's meeting us at a local restaurant afterwards. Turns out a gadget doesn't have to be expensive to be totally useful! Do you ever find yourself needing a funnel? How about a wine opener or a potato peeler?

I knew using a funnel had something to do with man stuff! I have a potato peeler, but I always use a knife, too.

Happy Birthday to your husband! Funnels are very helpful as are many other kitchen gadgets. They're good for putting sauces into small containers for the freezer.

Well well, now where is my funnel? I haven't seen it for months. This discussion reminded me of this.

Funnels were very useful in our kitchen. We uses it to pour cooking oil from the cans to small bottles. We use it also to pour sugars from a packs to small ones for selling sugars for a small price. We also use it to pour soy sauce or vinegar or any liquid seasonings from a gallon to small containers.

Speaking of which, I couldn't find mine this morning. I want to refill Febreeze. I end up pouring the new one slowly.

When my kids were tiny, they wished to have funnels to play with while having their daily bath. It must be therapeutic for them or something, because the oldest (about 3 years old at the time), just kept pouring water from one container to another. Thought he would become a chemist but he didn't! (He likes maths, physics & IT more.)
