About my Lunch

I just bought a ready made viands for my lunch this afternoon which was bitter gourd with egg and a fried milk fish. However, the fish is a little bit dry and the bitter gourd is really bitter (what do I expect?) but it's not usually the bitter taste most of the time that I'm eating it. There's really a big difference when you cook for your own than just buying ready to eat food.

Yes. You`re right. Although if you don`t have much time to cook for your own. It is really nice to buy the food that you like most.

Yes, you're right. When we're busy, we resort to buying ready to eat foods.

If one does not have the time to cook, then she has no choice to buy prepared foods,

True. As much as possible, I cook my own food but sometimes, it is tiring to do so so buying is the only other option.

@ZedSmart yup. I hate it when that happens. It feels like a waste of money.

Yes, we resort to buying outside and sometimes we're not satisfied with what we get.

@ZedSmart I do not have a choice but to cook since we do not go out often and the carienderia is quite far from here though some neighbors in the village gc sell food online. I do not trust the cooking cause we tried once the kare-kare and it is not worth the price. the price does not commensurate with the taste

If you have enough time, cook because it's really better.

Yes that's true and that's why I prefer to cook my own food than to order. Have a nice day.

Yes, that's but if you have to buy outside for some reason, make sure the quality of food the vendor is selling.

@ZedSmart oh yes, that was it- you have to get rid of some of the juice.

I think we need to sprinkle it with salt and then squeeze before we will cook it.

I know sometimes it's better to home cook as it does suit our palates more. But having an option to just buy meals in affordable prices from carenderia is also rather convenient.

@ZedSmart yeah I think you need to try another carenderia the chef in the one you have seems to be problematic.

Yes, the only issue I got from it is the quality of food is not consistent. The other day, the fried chicken I bought was not fully cook inside. I prefer to buy at this places because it's affordable compare to other fastfood and restos.
