It won’t stop raining!

This morning I went to collect an item of furniture I bought on Ebay. It came from a house that was being refurbished, so was rather dusty. When I got it home, I took it all out of the car (it came in several pieces) and stood it outside to give it a good wipe down. It came up quite nicely. Then I went to look for an old towel to give it a wipe. Straight away it started raining. And not just raining but really pouring down! The rain splashed up lots of dirt onto my clean unit, and of course got it very wet - hopefully it will dry OK. But now every time it looks as if it’s going to stop and I get ready to tend to it, armed with old newspapers and towels, the rain starts pouring down once again!
