A New Garden Visitor

New Cat cabin

I have two cat cabins in the garden, well one is really a small rabbit hutch that I ordered by accident. Mr Hissy, the large black cat, moves between the two and Mr Ginger will use an empty one if he is in the garden and it starts to rain suddenly and that has been happening a fair bit the last couple of weeks! Recently there has been a new visitor, a small black and white cat who joins us at meal times. At first she was very timid, but now is very bold and friendly. She actually lives a couple of doors down and just pops by for a quick snack and a bit of fussing. Sometimes she brings her ‘brother’ who is mainly black. Must be getting a reputation for being a pushover for moggie visitors! The left picture shows her waiting for an evening snack and the second is her tucking in whilst Mr Hissy has settled in for the night in the former hutch, after his supper.

I just appeal to their lazy nature, no travel for food or drink and a bit of fussing!

Mr Hissy only moves to next door's shed when the weather is really bad and that is where Mr G lives. It is set up with two beds. All very palatial!

What sweet visitors. Our neighbors ginger kitty, we call him Mr. Ginger as our indoor girl is called Ginger, was fast asleep under our van this evening. He runs if he sees us coming out or going inside. I want him to know he's welcome on our back porch when he needs a rest.

I have encouraged Mr H to come inside, but he is very independent and barely enters the kitchen. Mr G is a wanderer and doesn't stop long after eating.
