What takes a lot of time but is totally worth it?

We all have experience making something but takes a lot of time to actually done it and be satisfied with the result.. As for me, It takes a lot of time whenever I get my cakes done, Especially if the cake have serval tiers to fill in. Of course I shall have start with the planning on how to make them. Next is the costing and marketing of the ingredients.. The next one is making the details of the cake if the ordered one was quite difficult and have so many details to be put on. Then next I shall bake the cake from scratch. Then making the icing or the fondant. layering is next and then covering up the layered cake. And the decorating is next.. You have to carefully pipe those flowers or carefully paste the fondant details one by one.. And of course after getting the cake done.. We have to take a good photo of the cake and send it to our client.. Sometime it take days or even weeks to prepare for the cake. But guess what? It was all worth it.. Seeing the client happy and Satisfied with our work makes our tiredness go away.. Have you ever experience something Like this? What did you do?
