Volcanic eruption

Congo faces another volcanic eruption . It's a natural occurrence but it has caused damage including the sulphur fumes,fire ,heat ,smoke to mention a few. I pray for safety of the Congolese people . Some of them are facing hunger threat . May God see them through this difficult time.

Are there settlements near the volcano?
Is there any Government effort to evacuate the people?
Or did this volcano erupt suddenly after a long sleep?

Governments do not seem concerned about the plight of common folks.
Different countries but similar conditions !!

They live near the volcanic mountain . When the eruption ensued they vacated to another place but there was no food hence they are moving back to their settlement s. Praying for them to be safe
