Hello All.. Now-a-days life of women is terribly disturbed due to lock-down, especially of working women's. Taking care of family, doing all household stuff along with job is really hard to manage. Earlier kids are sent to daycare and maids are coming for doing household work. But know its very difficult to manage. Even though men help in household work but still life is harder for women. kids emotionally connect to women, monthly harmonal imbalances and so on..

This is something that I can easily relate to. Prior to the lockdown, my mother had been declared covid positive, and so no maid, no outside person was there to help me. I had to take care of the house on my own. Those days were like nightmares for me, I got cold , I had to all household activities on my own , and at the same time, I had to take care of myself.

Lockdowns of any kind are harmful to everyone. With conflicting messages on what you can and can't do, not being able to support your family and wondering where your next meal will come from. Only a small percentage of people are considered non-essental, and the vast majority of those are low income famlies who've been struggling prior to lockdown, fighting to keep the lights on. This needs to stop and people need to stop singaling each other out. It's devistating on all walks of life, unless you're lucky enough to not be impacted.

I think not only in this pandemic. The life of women is always very difficult, both for those who work and for those who do not work, there are many things to do. Is not easy.

You are right that during lock down, lady of the house gets burdened with additional work, as help of maid is generally not available. Understandably, most women face this challenge and they somehow cope with it with the help of the family members.

Hello and welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first thing you should do is to read the Guideline Rules so that you know what is allowed or not on this site. Read around, Like and Comment as much as you can to make yourself known to the community. Although it's not obligatory, it would be a good idea to add the name of your country to your account page to make your posts more understandable.
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

Everybodies lives have been turned upside down with the Pandemic. Women here do all the same things and 99.9 percent don't have a maid or have never had a maid. Women here manage to look after kids, do the housework, organise shopping, and often hold down full time jobs. And have the monthly gig too.
