Sirens are loudly screaming and so is Luna. There are sounds that Luna cannot tolerate.
She howls at some sounds from airplanes. But right now it is worse.
There are sirens from several cars and Luna is completely distressed.
As she won´t come indoors, she just howls in pain. I don´t know if the sound hurts her ears or there´s something else. I have heard that dogs ears are a lot more sensitive than ours.
I´ll turn on the TV to see if they say anything about the sirens.

Thats is true, dogs have very sensitive eardrums.
they are scared by loud bang noises and many others.

There´s a plane that passes above my house every day. Luna hates it. But this was a lot worse.

they like peace and quiet.
Until it's their turn, then the noises made by them are just mere sounds.

Many dogs howl when they hear sirens. I have heard its because it is a similar sound.

Cats and dogs hear far better than we can. There isn't a whole lot you can do. Hope the sound stops long enough to get her inside.

I hope those sirens stop soon and nothing really bad has happened, I agree poor Luna dogs and cats both have sensitive ears,
