Day 291 Promise 760, 761 Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Everyone questions authority. Everyone thinks they have a better way of doing things. Not everything we do is right or will come to fruition. Jesus showed John what would happen during the Tribulation. The dragon would convince people to worship the beast and receive his mark. Those who did would suffer God’s wrath and indignation forever in brimstone and fire in the presence of the angels and the Lamb. They would suffer eternal torment. As Christians, you know what will happen if you take the mark of the beast. You also know that time hasn’t come yet. It is reserved for the Tribulation when God will judge all those who rejected Jesus as Savior and Lord and give them one final chance to receive salvation. All those who stand fast in their new faith in Jesus Christ and refuse to take the mark of the beast will receive eternal life. Everyone else who takes the mark will suffer eternal torment. During the Tribulation, God gives man two choices. They can receive the hope of the everlasting gospel, or they can reject the gospel and accept the mark of the beast. One choice leads to eternal life. The other leads to eternal death. That’s why it’s important now for Christians to preach and teach the Word of God to everyone who will listen so they will know the truth and the truth will set them free from the chains of eternal torment. No one wants to see their loved ones suffer. No one wants to see them suffer eternal torment either. You want to see your loved ones saved and enjoy eternal life in heaven with Jesus your Savior. Never stop praying for your loved ones. There is always hope until the final judgment of the Lamb. Let’s pray: Father, help me reach the lost with Your Word. Let Your Word go forth into every corner of the world so people will know the truth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 29 May 2021 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay
