Good Morning / myLot

Believe it or not we were hoping for some rain today. The weatherman was wrong, he said we would get some. Our grass and plants need it desperately. The grass is crunchy and the plants are bend over and looking kind of limp. Today will be in the low 90's and right now it is sunny. So much for the rain we need. We are still recovering from our recent visit with the youngest daughter and her family. We sure enjoyed them but boy are we exhausted. Now that they are gone the silence is deafening. Still resting today, taking it easy. What is everyone else doing with their day? By the way, it may not be Monday but it sure feels like it is.

I am so jealous. We need some good weather here. It is hot and humid. Good thing we have air conditioning. I'd be as droopy as my outdoor plants.

I hope that the rains fall soon for you. The grass is getting brown here as well as it's been about 1 1/2- 2 weeks. Good news is they are calling for it beginning tomorrow and last through the weekend, a good percentage each day. I mowed at the church yesterday and will do the same here at home today.

You and the west coast need rain badly, especially the west coast. They expect the drought to continue. Take it easy and rest up. Nothing going on here! Have a good rest of your week.

I rested up and am feeling a little perky today. We have 60% chance of rain today. I hope it does rain and I wish I could share it with you.
