Do you believe he existed? Is he God? Is he alive? Is he a fictional character in a book? Is he too demanding? Was The Da Vinci Code correct? What do you believe about Jesus?

I believe He definitely existed. History records have shown that time and again and in no way is he a fictional character. The existence of the vatican and christianity proves that fact. As to the da vinci code, i believe it is only one man's contovertial way of profiting of the issues in religion specially in christianity.

Yes, I believe He existed. I believe He is God, he is alive in a glorified spiritual body. No He is not a fictional character in a book. Too demanding? Ha! He askes us to love Him and love our neigbor. We demand MUCh more of the people in our lives, daily. The Da Vinci Code was a novel. A great story, actually. I loved it. But, a novel is fiction. What do I believe about Jesus? I believe He is the one and only Son of God, the Word made flesh, a man who sacrificed all for the creation He loves so much.

We need to discuss the hard topics. Avoiding things like this and being politically correct is what' wrong with especially this country America today. You have to stand for what you believe and there's nothing wrong with asking others opinions on it also

Jesus - This is about Jesus Christ
wow, what a nice question. I thought you must be a non-christian. Yes, i believe in Jesus. I always pray for Him day and night for all His generousity to me. He is such a my boyfriend. I always mentioned His name in every situation especially when i'm in trouble. I still remember, a few years ago, i have a weird illness and it cannot be cure even by seeking a doctor. At the same time, i don't believe Jesus at all. I always deny Him. shortly speaking, one day one of my friends suggest me to go to church asking for being prayer. Yes, all the members at the church agree to pray for me for my weird illness. What was happen after that, I was be healed "in Jesus name". Until now, i still remember how is been cured my weird illnes, how is still want to accept me even i was deny him long time ago. That was Jesus Christ!

I believe, thanks to historical fact, that Jesus was a real person. I do not believe he is the son of god, nor do I believe in god. I think Mary was raped or had an affair and was too afraid to tell Joseph. I believe that some things happen in this world that are beyond explanation, but I tend to look towards science than a fictional religion. I think the people who write the bible were too demanding and simply afraid of the unknown and people with no common-sense morals.

Matthew 1-2, Luke 1-2 - The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High." (TNIV)
Pity of you because you don't know yet the chronology of Jesus Birth. Nevermind, let me help you to clear you "Devil thingking" through this official web sites. "http://www.rationalchristianity.net/jesus_infancy.html"

Science has so many holes in it. Anywhere I poke with science I can find a hole and I'm not a scientist. Darwin who started the whole evolution thing even rescinded his stance on evolution and claimed that God had created the world

If you believe that jesus is historical figure then you have to believe that Rama and Krishna are also historical figure not mythological one.

I too think that jesus was just a man(though a really great one). People(esp roman kings) have killed him in the first instance and later when everything started to get out of hands the proclaimed him as god and totally spoiled his intentions. He was a great person who found the right way and tried to teach it to others. According to me aqnyone who follow his path and words can become like him.

Yes I believe Jesus existed. He is God's son. No he is not alive. And he is not fictional. Demanding, he's not demanding at all. As for the Da Vinci Code is it correct no one knows. But if you read into it some you'll learn some scary stuff. What do you believe??

I am atheist first of all so no I do not believe there is "god" or any of that whatsoever. Moving on, how can you prove he does exist? Simply because there is a "bible" does not mean "god" wrote it. Do you honestly believe he wrote the "bible" if he is such a great thing and did exist then religon would not be so critical and against people such as gays, and many other things that religon is against. If it were real then the world would be a much better place and many things would not have occured. If "god" were real then life would be as it is and "he" would have helped those who needed help but there is no god, there is no religion and that is why the world is the way it is today. Look around you and think to yourself look at the world do you honestly think that god exists?

Eatch of us belive in a God no mather the religion,we all bilive he existed becaused during history there here many people how have seen inexplainable events.Even our date in the past BC(before Christ) sugest that some thing happen. The Da Vinci code could be an alternative to our belifes but even there the mesage is clear that there is a GOD.

Yes, I strongly believe that Jesus Christ existed. According to reliable history, a man named Jesus was born over 2,000 yrs. ago in Bethlehem, a small town of land of Judea. (Matt. 2:1) Roman historians of the 1st two centuries generally avoided mentioning Jesus, since Roman rulers at that time were trying to suppress Christianity. He's not a fictional character in a book. In fact, I have a book published by the Watchtower, w/c mentions and tells his teachings, his missions on earth, and his awesome miracles. NO ONE BETTER KNOWN The account of Jesus' life was recorded by 4 of his contemporaries - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - 2 of whom are intimate associates. Their books, named after them, are commonly called the Gospels, parts of w/c can be read in over 2,000 languages. No wonder that Jesus is better Known than any man who has evr lived! True, he is God but not the Almighty God as His Father. He is the Son of God. And, he is alive. In fact, He is now ruling in heaven since 1914, where, as said by the Bible, the end of the system's world. Soon, He will make the world a paradise where no man can say 'I'm sick'. I think that he existed, but I don't believe he is the son of god, or god. I don't think he's alive, and I don't think he's a fictional character in a book-- although I do think most of the bible is ficitional. I don't think the Da Vinci Code is correct, either. I just think Jesus was a regular guy, pretty much =)

yes i believe he exsisted. no he is not god but the son of him sent to earth through human birth and became man. i don't think he's a fictional character since msot of the writtings are based on actual accounts from people. i don't think he's that demanding, but the church makes it to be like he is. i think th da vincci code is a neat theory, and if it did exist i understand protecting the decendent. i believe most things said about him. what i disagree with is the way of worship. i know some parts of his life were altered, like i think the theory that Mary had children before she gave birth to Jesus, and that he had many Brothers and Sisters that helped him in his life. I think they left that out because it seemed more 'divine' if she were a virgin and he was the only/main child.

Im sorry i have to edit my first post there seem to be a typo... The question on Jesus's existence is a question on your own existence, Jesus is the wisdom of God. He is with God in the creation of the Universe as it is mentioned in the Book of Genesis (I can give the verse if you want to) He is God simply because He is the Son of God. And He is not demanding, we are just stubborn. He loved us more than we loved Him and it's NOT too late to know Him more.
