The fact is, most people barely have enough money to live on. Insurance companies will try really hard not to pay. It's a sad fact of life.

Yes indeed the Insurance Companies try their best not to pay at all or pay very little. But if there is a case
of terrible injury and property damage then the settlement is real big. Now come the lawyer turn to to
take his big portion if this settlement .Normally the check is payable to the lawyer and then he pay
his client.

@coolsite Well, true. That's typically how they get their money.

They were few cases that I read, that lawyer took 75% and gave his client 25% of the proceed . This is
really unfair ,here we got a case of some one hurting badly, lost his job earning ,spend long time in
hospital ,terrible suffer and pain and this lawyer(will not mention name) had the heart to do some
thing like that.

I do not have anything to do with lawyers but I can say if you have a lot of money to pay the lawyer will do a great job for you if you don't have much money there is not much hope

Well hope you will never had or have any thing with lawyers. But if some thing real bad happened and you will need one, you should have it in writing as what percentage of the proceed goes to his pocket.
It use to be about 30% but talking about honest lawyers , could go up to 100%
