So once again yours truly was back to watching a cricket match. Frankly some suddenly unexpected expenses came up which were kind of making me frustrated. So I watched this thrilling match played in August 2007 between England and India at Bristol. India made 329 runs in 50 overs with a superb 99 by Sachin Tendulkar and an uncharacteristic 92 of 63 by Rahul Dravid. I liked the way Dravid played so technically excellently and still hit 11 fours and a six. In response, England too fought well. Fifties by Ian Bell and Mascarenhas bought England close enough - 320. Piyush Chawla was the star for India with 3 wickets. A match worth watching. Link :

Must be a good watch. I am presently watching England playing New Zealand in a test match being played at Lords in London. The match is significant because New Zealand is scheduled to play India in Test championship final on 18th of this month at Bristol in England and this with another one to follow after this becomes preparation for New Zealand while India has none and they have to play in England, most difficult venue for them. New Zealand playing first have scored 371. England in their first innings are struggling at 7 for 1. Too early to predict the result though.

@msdivkar New Zealand has a great chance of winning against England as well as India. They have both the bowlers as well as the batsmen to deliver the goods.

@msdivkar There were big follies in the WC 2019 Semifinals. Like not sending Dhoni or Jadeja higher up. Plus playing both Karthik and Rishabh Pant.

Sometimes I pull up older sporting matches on Youtube. If I ever figure out what cricket is all about, I may check out those matches as well.

@betlynfrnds I too sometimes pick up on older but interesting matches, many of them being quite closely fought.

I have never watched Cricket. I am sure I would not understand it. I just watched a little bit of it. It does look quite a bit like baseball.
