Otto Dahl who is a five year old boy is thankful that his parents were able to contact the San Bernardino Sheriff Department officials to search for their child who I guess decided to ride his dirt bike in the Mojave Desert away from their sight was missing for one day.
The key to success in the location of Otto was that a group of volunteers and several deputies searched to find Otto early in the morning the next day and reunite him with his parents.
What made this story of rescuing Otto was that Otto did not have a cell phone with him which would have made rescuing him easier.
Otto's parents are grateful that the deputies and volunteers were able to find their son alive since in a desert setting, the story may have had a tragic end.

I am glad that Otto was found. How do parents let a 5-year-old get out of sight and get lost? Have a great weekend.

I guess Otto's parents were distracted for a few moments before they found out he went missing.
