saturday fun!

We had a very laid back, but full day of fun today. We met up with a friend who we haven't seen in months, he had his little girl with him and she child decided they wanted to hang out, so the two of them came over. The girls played in the back yard for a little while, ate lunch together and then started painting. We decided since it was hot we would go to the creek. So we spent a few hours playing in the creek before they decided that they wanted to make cupcakes. We came back to our house and they played ouside for awhile while I got dinner in the oven. They watched movies, ate pizza, and then we made cupcakes and I set out all the decorating stuff. They had a ton of fun with that. And there are only about a million sprinkles on my kitchen floor. But the dogs will clean that up. Our friend and his daughter left about thirty minutes ago, because the little one had fallen asleep. The girls had a blast and our friend looked and sounded better than we have seen him in years. So it was a good day. Hope everyone else had a good day! Hope you have the best day ever. Mainly because you want to, mostly because I said so.
