This movie did not get great reviews, but it is a good story to watch at Christmas time. There is love and renewal of the Christmas spirit and people coming together to help one another. Watch it and hopefully you will enjoy it.

The book "Skipping Christmas" is one of my favorites. So the movie had a lot to live up to. I wasn't crazy about the casting. While I like both Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, I didn't picture them in the roles of Luther and Nora Krank. I would have pcitured older actors. But all in all the movie was pretty good and it lived up to the book quite well. It's hard to pull that off. I liked it enough to add it to my Christmas DVD collection.

I read the book first, so I couldn't wait to see the movie! It met my expectations, which is rare when you've read the book first.

I haven't seen it. When I think of Christmas movies I think of "A Wonderful Life", 34th Street, etc. But maybe someday I'll watch this one.

They are the best,I think most of us grew up watching the classics. This is a more modern story but just as touching and entertaining.
